Estimated organic traffic
Overview
Estimated organic traffic predicts how many visits a page or keyword may receive from unpaid search results. It is usually calculated from search volume, expected ranking position, click-through rate, and SERP layout.
This metric is an estimate, not a guarantee.
Calculation Logic
| Input | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Search volume | How often the keyword is searched. |
| Ranking position | Expected or current organic ranking. |
| CTR curve | Expected click-through rate by position. |
| Organic clicks percent | Share of clicks available to organic results. |
| SERP features | Features that may reduce or shift clicks. |
Simple Formula
Estimated Organic Traffic = Search Volume x Expected CTR x Organic Click Opportunity
